PLAYSTATION® 3

PLAYSTATION® 3 is Sony's new generation videogame console, third in the PlayStation series. It is the sucessor to PlayStation and PlayStation 2 and competes with Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.

The PS3 started being sold on November 11 2006 in Japan, and on November 17 2006 in the United States, Canada, Hong Kong and Taiwan. It will be sold in March 2007 in Europe and Australia. It is available in two configurations: basic and premium.


Configurations

The basic configuration of the console has 20 GB internal hard drive. The premium version of the PlayStation 3 comes with an internal 60 GB hard drive, IEE 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity, and multiple flash memory card readers.

Here, in Europe we continue waiting for this marvellous (and expensive) console, but in March 2007….we'll go to buy it running!

My personal opinion

In my opinion, thinking in PS3 quality and characteristics, the price it's very good, but I think we'll have to wait a little for buying it, and the price will be less.
